Sopho Chkhikvadze was born in 1972 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She studied art at the Nikoladze Art College, before going on to complete a masters degree at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art. She lives and works in London, United Kingdom. She has recently been included in the BP Portrait Award 2016 at the National Portrait Gallery, London and has taken part in exhibitions in London, Prague, Moscow, Tbilisi and at Cyril Gerber Fine Art, Glasgow. Sopho’s works are held in the Moscow Modern Art Museum, Muzeum Montanelli as well as in private collections all over Europe.
