Artist, theorist, and representative of the analytical branch of Moscow Conceptualism. He played a role in the development of Sots Art. Born in Moscow in 1956. From 1970 to 1973, Skersis studied in the workshop of artists Alexander Melamid and Vitaly Komar. 1973-1977 - Studied at the Moscow State Printing Institute, member of the "Gnezdo" (Nest) group (1975-1979), since 1980 a member of the "SZ" (Serbian Union of Artists) association (with Boris Zakharov), and since 2008, of "Cupidon." His works are held in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the National Center for Contemporary Art, and private collections.
