Artist, representative of Moscow Conceptualism. Anton Olshvang was born in 1965 in Moscow. From 1987 to 1991, he participated in the art squat on Furmanny Lane. In 1988, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (production department). In 1989, he became a member of the Moscow City Committee of Graphic Artists. From the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, he worked both individually and in collaboration with Olga Chernysheva. From 1994 to 1998, he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. He participated in Manifesta 3 in 2000. He was longlisted for the 2015 Kandinsky Prize in the "Project of the Year" category.
